Tustin Ranch Tire & Auto Center provides all services related to automotive brakes. When a customer brings their vehicle with a brake related issue – here’s what we do.

- Remove the wheels and check the friction materials, AKA the brake pads or brake shoes

- Check the thickness of the rotors – making sure they are within tolerance

- Check the size of the drums – making sure they are within tolerance

- Check the calipers for leaking

- Check the master cylinder

- Check brake hoses, dust covers & brake lines

- Test the hydraulic system and check the fluids

-Test the booster unit to ensure its holding a vacuum

Cooling System

Your engine produces an enormous amount of heat to propel your vehicle down the road. We want to ensure that your cooling system is up for the challenge. A cooling system inspection includes:

- Visual inspection for coolant leaks

- Check radiator caps for proper seal

- Check radiator

- Visual check on all hoses, water pump, heater core and control valves

- Pressure Test to find leak (if necessary)

$24.95 for a cooling system inspection. But if the vehicle needs a repair, the inspection cost of $24.95 goes directly to the cost of the repair.

Engine

We offer two types of inspection for engine services. Our general engine inspection includes:

- Diagnostic on the engine

- Visual nspection

- Compression test of the cylinders

- Check for External Damage

$65 for our general engine inspection. But if the vehicle needs a repair, the inspection cost of $65 goes directly to the cost of the repair.

For a more thorough inspection of the engine, our certified technicians have to get our hands dirty and tear down the engine.

- Visual Inspection of the internal parts of the engine including the cylinder head, head gasket, valves, lifters and push rods

Due to the increased labor for the Tear Down Engine Inspection the cost varies between $275-500, depending on the make and model.

Maintenance

With older generation vehicles standards of 30K, 60K and 90K became adopted timelines to perform maintenance on customer’s vehicles. The exact maintenance timelines of today’s vehicles vary by make and model. When customer schedule a Super Works Oil Change, it comes with the following for $29.95:

- Oil change

- New filter

- Top off fluids

- Tire rotation

With higher mileage vehicles (60,000 to 100,000) when an oil change is purchased we also check on common wear and tear issues including:

- Belt replacement

- Transmission services (e.g. transmission flush)

-  Coolant System Services

- Water Pump

Smog

The California State Government lets drivers know when they need to receive a new smog certificate. Tustin Ranch Tire & Auto Center is a certified testing center. Our Smog test is based on state regulations and you can save $10 with this coupon.
